So I’ve been dealing with frontal neck pain for about 2 months now. It’s sort of by my lymph nodes under my chin. They have yet to figure out what is causing my pain, but I deal with it daily and nothing that I’ve noticed seems to trigger it nor make it better, it just comes and goes. I’m not looking for a diagnosis but rather to see if anyone else gets these pains in the front of their neck as well. I’m at a loss. I e been to my primary, a neurologist an ENT and now to see a speech therapist.

Neck pain
Have they check to see if it’s your Thyroid? If not get it checked..
I have this and was ignored for a long time. Also pain occasionally in my jaw joint, and in the front of my neck as well as feeling like I had a sore throat. Finally referred to ENT who said it was reflux, and PPIs did indeed make it better. But a couple of years later even with PPIs it was back. I also developed loud clunking noises and some pain around the back of my neck.
I was referred to a different ENT consultant that was a little better at listening, and said yes, it is reflux, but it is also likely to be arthritis in my neck and that the nerves are all over the place so where the irritation and inflammation is, isn't necessarily were the pain is.
So I am going with that for the moment and waiting on a rheumatology appointment.
Thyroid disease can also cause pains in your neck as well as making you feel as if your choking at times.

Have you seen a dentist?
It could be acid reflux could be silent reflux your sinus draining down your throat. I also have arthritis in my neck could be neck spasms. Try to put books under the head of your bed about 6 inches And give up caffeine chocolate eat low FODMAP and don’t eat 3 hrs before bed
Thank you I do suffer from acid reflux, and I’ve been dealing with some muscle spasms lately all over my body so I’m wondering now if it could be neck spasms
I have this too it started from medication. It’s acid reflux and ibs. I’m starting a soothing powder of slippery elm marshmallow root and licorice root salve you mix in water. You can buy combinations of it in pills at health food stores too. You just need to drink a lot of water. It helps heal the digestive system. Mine is so bad after iron infusions. I’m also starting half a tsp of barley juice powder. They say it helps healing but I took too much so I’m starting slow see how it goes. Once you’re flared as you describe it’s rough I’m on ppi I can’t get it sorted yet but I do know there’s no cheating with diet and staying away from anything caffeine and fats dairy. I do take probiotics. Mine keeps getting inflammation as it’s stressful. I try to walk around the block in the morning when rising and drinking warm water. I use a cold compress on my lower belly then warm. I only eat chicken & fish & overcook my veggies. It’s awful the trapped gas mines so bad I can’t take antidepressants even they actually started this along with medication been a nightmare for over a year now. Stress of it all. The powder I talked about is very soothing and helps my bowel movements too so angry I had to get iron infusions doctors really messed up my digestive system it was fine before. And the ppis make me feel sick and bloated. Square one. I hardly salt water 4X6, a day and take slippery elm throat lozenges too they coat it. The stress of it going on so long makes it worse. Mornings are hell.
