Please insist on getting this checked out. Chase up with your GP as a matter of urgency. Make sure they know that you are concerned. You may need a scan and x-rays to see what it is and to rule out possible causes, also blood tests. You definitely need to be exmined. There are lymph nodes in your armpits which can enlarge for a few reasons. You dont need to worry but you do need to get to the bottom of it, rule out anything serious and get treatment if required. People still have other health issues despite the pandemic which cannot be ignored. Definitely go to A&E if you dont get the proper attention from your doctor. Wishing you all the best..
Try pepto bismol or gaviscon for the acid reflux to see if that helps. There are also walk in centre's, where you would be able to get an earlier appointment with a GP. This may be less worrying for you than A&E. Ask your GP receptionist about this, if you feel you can't wait until 9th.I think they refer you, also NHS 111 can refer you.
