Hi all, still suffering with sciatica (what with me obviously being bigger!) can anyone advise of anything to help me? I need to see my Chiro but they are looking at least another month to open (depending on Government guidelines) I’m doing stretches. All fours. Stretch up then relax, natural arch. Then one leg over other knee and pull through. Hope this makes sense! I’m walking in my garden & using exercise bike (10 mins) when I can. But struggling, last night was a nightmare. Left side significantly worse. See my previous posts for history. Any tips etc much appreciated! Thank you

Difficult to relieve as you cannot take pain medication. Keeping moving is important so try to walk every day. Be careful of your posture when standing and sitting. Its easy to get into habits of distributing the weight unevenly and this could make the problem worse. Though of course the natural inclination is to do so.
However you should speak to your doctor or midwife and discuss ways to ease the discomfort. They might advise on topical pain relief which is safe in pregnancy.
I would also suggest trying a Tens Machine ( available from Lloyds chemist quite cheaply). They work wonders for my back and leg pain.
