I take hydroxychlooquine for RA. Will this help my body fight the corona virus?

It is one of the drugs they are currently using in the drug regiment to combat it.... 😊

Possibly. It will depend on dose, but also at what stage of the disease you are at. There has been some early work in China that has shown it has helped shorten the pneumonia of patients that were bad enough to be in hospital. So it seems to work with COVID-19 associated pneumonia.

Just to add another view of this. Scientists are asking China for the full data to see what has actually been happening. It is right to question everything, but from my medical academic colleagues, it seems the Chinese are actually pretty good for the most part in doing sound research.

Its bit early to tell to be honest but early signs are promising,had to be the one I'm allergic to didn't it lol

I was taking this drug for RA; however it was messing with my eyesight and taken off. Now I only take Mexthorate.
