Hi All.

on the 13th of September I went into hospital for another routine angiogram, the surgeon inserted another line to check my smaller vess els of my heart, this caused a massive stroke, I had to be given a thromolis a large amount of clot busters.thinners,I had to sign a consent form, and was told it may not work,I asked if I was going to die..and the doctor said he couldnt say...I was taken to the stroke ward after this where I had another small stroke, given more blood thinners, after 5 days on ward and slight improvement I was allowed home,my right side was very weak and my speech was quite bad, with help from the local stroke team,I have improved alot, lucky to be alive, but very frightened by the whole episode, also on the way home from the hospital we were hit up the back of our car by a man in a van,who said "he didnt see us" had to call an ambulance, and to top it all have whiplash from this accident.Never again do I go into hospital on Friday the 13th!

Gosh I am so shocked at what you have been through! I do hope you are on the mend now and enjoying Christmas. Sending warm loving hugs and a healthy happy New Year too. I am on the verge of going to A&E as I had severe left leg cramp a week ago which is causing so much pain that I cannot walk safely. Having second thoughts now! Take care xx
