Hi I'm a member of this group but I'm asking for my husband. For a while now he says his foot feels like it's wet and freezing cold. He says His foot feels like he's stood in a bucket of ice cold water. Sometimes his foot feels cold, but mostly it doesn't feel cold to touch. He does also get pain in his leg, saying his whole leg feels weird. Has anyone any suggestions? He did goto the Drs a while ago now, there advise was to put a tennis ball under the ball of his foot and roll it back and forth.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Put the tennis ball in your lower back . (Get details google) it's physio interrupts nerve signal ..sciatic
There could be a number of reasons for your husband's symptoms. It may be related to nerve or circulatory problems or other reasons. The best advice I can give is to keep a diary. Does anything make it worse for example distance walked or cold weather. Does the affected area swell? If it does take pictures. Is the affected foot a different colour from the other foot? Obviously the tennis ball as had no affect go back to your GP.
I had something similar but it was 2 seperate problems
The wet feet feeling was actually a foot infection, I forget the name sorry. you couldn't really see it when foot was dry but you could see it just after getting out of the bath as it emphasised the symptoms, my foot looked like it was the surface of the moon with big craters. I was given fucidic acid cream from the Drs for that. It was most likely caused the dr said from not enough air getting to my feet as I was constantly in heavy socks, big slippers anything to keep my freezing cold feet warm...the freezing cold feet was due to circulation problem.
After using the cream my feet didn't feel wet anymore.
You could see if your hubbies feet look a bit odd after a bath? I do remember when I googled what it was the feet were meant to smell with this infection but mine never did, guess they were to cold to sweat that much.
To see if the cold feet might be a circulation problem you could try finding your husbands pulse in his foot or ankle, my chiropractor and gp had trouble finding mine which led to further tests for circulation
Of course it could be something totally different but what you described reminded me of what I had.
