Just want to sleep 😭😭

Itsallinthehips profile image
•17 Replies

As the title says I struggle so much at night sleeping. Mi can fall asleep by 10-11 most night night I will wake up every 39-60mins and be awake for hours and then then cycle again. I used to think it was the tramadol I took but but since stopped them a long time ago it’s still happening 😔

I take Clonazepam for my spasms and my doctor told me these would help me sleep...well he lied lol

I’ve tried baths m, pillow sprays, making the room conditions different to what I’ve read can help , wedging myself in with pillows so I don’t move. I’ve tried magnesium lavender oil , I’ve tried sleepy tea

The minute I move the pain will wake me up and I’m back to square one again

I can’t read I can’t concentrate on it

Any tips would be appreciated please!

Melatonin should help or buy it online from the USA. Have a google about it.

I don’t want to buy random drugs online from America when I’m in the UK. I want more natural things

Thanks though

It’s already made by the body and safe, it’s classed as a food supplement in the USA.

Many elderly, children with special needs and people who travel frequently swear by it.

I have used it for my son and other members of immediate family for over 20 years with no issues at all.

It is normally prescribed by a GP, but you can buy it online.

It helps the body regulate sleep and is much better than all the sleep medication out there with side effects.

Melatonin is already made by the body but of course it is your personal choice whether or not you want to start taking anything new.

No from what I’ve read it’s a hormone and I can’t but hormones in my body they have an extremely bad effect on me and I’m not buying things from America and shipping it here I wouldn’t trust it but thank you x

It's exactly the same thing prescribed by a GP, it's the real thing. I get it from the USA because my son's treatment was all stopped because he didn't want to take part in family therapy, they weren't happy and that's what they did, left him to cope without any of his medication. In America it is branded as a food product so it is perfectly acceptable to buy in health food stores.

Melatonin regulates sleep and sometimes a top up is needed and it can be better than other sleep medication which has side effects because Melatonin is already in your body.

My daughter was prescribed this with adhd it didnt work for her or me. Nothing you can actually buy helps. Just prescriptions from a doctor.

This was bought from a prescription originally prescribed for ten years but a disagreement on other matters regarding my son's care stopped this prescription.

It worked for us and our own family, maybe the dosage needs to be looked at, it is already made in the body and regulates sleep and definitely works but sometimes needs a top up.

Many people use Melatonin for jet lag, for older age and several other reasons and categories, some temporarily and some longer term.

Sleep.. what the heck is that, lol. I think that word left my vocabulary 20 plus years ago, lol. Hang in there Itsallinthehips :)

Clonazepam works great for me with anxiety, muscle spasms and sleep. I take 1 mg 4 times a day. Been taking close to 20 years now.

Hi there! Your doc lets you take 10mg of Klonopin a night for sleep? I’m suffering from severe insomnia and even 3 mgs doesn’t help

Have you tried dropping the room temperature? We’re biologically programmed to recognise night-time by a drop in temperature. You can check this blog post out, it has some good tips. beddable.co.uk/blogs/cotton...
