Wrist pain in the morning, and stiffness, goes away mostly in the day?

What is probably causing the stiffness and pain in the morning is inflammation. Have you been diagnosed with any kind of arthritis?
People have natural pain killers in their bodies and they often don't work so well until we wake up. Once we are awake they kick in and the pain and stiffness from the inflammation goes away.
Does that explanation make sense?
Could be any of a number of things - arthritis in thumb is one example. Ever had an xray?
