Scary chest pain and pop.

I don’t know if I should be too worried about it but that doesn’t change the fact that I am. In my lower left side of my chest right at the bottom of my left pectoral closer to the middle, I get a strong stinging pain that makes me stop breathing cuz it hurts so bad. The pain would make me tense up, and the pain gets worse for about 15-30 seconds until the worst part, when the area POPS. And that’s the part that scares me. The pop is the most painful part but after the pop the pain goes away. I get these maybe once or twice a week. Does anyone know what the cause could be?

I am not sure what that is and you do know we are not doctors and I think that pop would be something I would go right to the doctors for. You know that card when you are playing monopoly and it says do not pass go go directly to jail Well that pop is saying to not ask anyone else go directly to your doctor NOW.

I hope you find out what that is let me know what your doctor says.

It sounds like a chest wall pain, could be the ribs where they meet the sternum. There are all sorts of things that can cause chest pain that doesn't involve the heart.
