Back and front leg pain

I have back pain on the left side and pain down the front of my left leg down to my ankle. It is worse when I stand still (as in doing the washing up, peeling potatoes etc). I have had sciatica but that was down the back of my leg and buttock. Does anyone know what it might be

I have had the same issues. Going to try and get an appointment tomorrow. But what I think mine is. Is shin splints. So painful. Google it. See if it fits. Hope you feel better soon.

What you are describing is very similar to what I have been dealing with for over twenty years. I have been diagnosed with two different conditions. Not sure which is the correct diagnosis. I was diagnosed with small fibre neuropathy and sciatica. I take a medication for the neuropathy that does help dull the pain somewhat. At times the pain can become almost unbearable.

This sounds a lot like me. I have degenerative disc disease in my L4-S5 which compress my vertebrae. This compression pinched the nerves running through my hips. It burns when I stand or walk for too long. I only get relief if I bend over forwards. I get massages and am in physical therapy now to reduce the pain. I hope this helps. Good Luck
