Fed up pain ,

I've had two meniscus tears in knee last November alas I'm still in lots pain in my consultation he said op was a success but sometimes it works and sometimes not , I'm still on crutches as can't put full weight on it , he's sending me to pain clinic does this sound right , plus my other knee is hurting a lot when I walk he said this is because I'm putting strain on it but it will go ,any help I'm in so much pain oh had X-ray all ok it's but the swelling I've had even before the knee op is still very swollen , I also have bursitis on hip that's bad at moment , any ideas please would be grateful,

Yes, I have bad bursitis on my hip and I have tried everything, some days it is hard to walk and so painful. I do use Volteran Gel which the doctor can prescribe to help decrease inflammation. have many cortisone shots also, only every 3 months or so but it makes me weaker. Take a lot of Advil every day but worry about my Kidney's. Good luck the Doctors will not take the Bursa out of my hip, also because I have had a Hip implant on my left side.
