I've recently been feeling some stiffness around the groin area, I can sometimes feel it in my lower abdomens and up the right side of my body, from my hip up to my torso, I've been to the doctors twice and have been told it's not testicular related and have been advised to do stretches and see how it is both times, I would like to know if anyone else understands my problem and would know what I have to do to stop this uncomfort on the right hand side of my body, thankyou

Groin stiffness
It's possible you have tight hip flexors. Any lack of flexibility in that area can lead to groin pain. Ask for a physio referral or make a private appointment .
I believe that everyone should be doing stretching exercises. The lifestyles we live now can result in all sorts of problems due to the limited way we use our bodies.
Hope your problem finds a solution soon.

Hello RyanC,
I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing such pain and discomfort.
I agree that it may be worth going back to your GP to see if it is a hip issue or something with your illopoas muscle. I have iliopoas tendonitis and it has been extremely painful for months. I saw 2 GPS that didn't think there was a problem but eventually I saw a Dr privately (which I couldn't really afford) who gave me an ultrasound which diagnosed the problem. classic symptoms are having difficulty getting up stairs or struggling to get out of a car.
Physiotherapy has helped me but it has been a long process and it still is painful, but at least the problem is clearer.
I hope you can access outstanding/ more diagnostic tests to help understand what is causing the pain.
Best wishes
