Stair climbing
Hi I also have had a tkr over a year and a half ago.I sometimes wish I never had it done .I still have trouble going up and down stairs and pain, also I still have that tight band feeling..I went back to my doctors about the stair carry on.He said it could be the knee cap giving me trouble....I hope you get pain free.Oh and I still do exercises I feel this helps.good luck.

Hello, my name is Gayle and I too had a knee replacement in Feb of this year but because I kept and the doctor told me to expect a little bit of pain because our bodies are NOT perfect so I accept that as a very good explanation and like you I tried walking up the stairs like \every6 one else but my knee was not ready at all for that and it really hurt my knee and now it's more painful than before I tried going up the stairs. So I just pray that all the pain goes away before Sept 7th which is when I have a left hip replacement by the same orthopedic surgeon. So like you I wish you very good luck with your knee replacement and I will pray for you and your knee!
