So here is another blog post from me, where I talk about the hidden side effects of chronic pain not widely talked about!

Your blog is brilliant... so very true in all aspects of my life, like so many others! Just so wish others close to me could understand that's exactly what I'm going through, but I don't think they ever will as it's so hard to explain all this to them. If only I could get hubby to read this, but he won't and it's not quite the same if you try and read it to them ☹️
Thank you for the link , it is good portral of how chronic pain effectswe the sufferers. I have posted to my Facebook page so people understand how it is for me & others.
Hello, thanks for another great post. I'd never really thought about the idea of side effects being taboo but you are absolutely right. I'm losing lots of hair at the moment and haven't told anyone except my doctor because it seems so embarrassing, but it's not like it's my fault so why should it? I relate to all the other things too.
I would maybe also add "loss of social life", almost as a product of some of the things you've mentioned, because if you are struggling with pain you can't describe and side effects you don't talk about, it becomes difficult to talk about anything else so you avoid seeing people at all, and that's even before thinking about the difficulty in travelling to visit them.
Take care x
I agree with everything you've written. I would add that government policies have had a major impact of the severity of those side effects. By reversing disability rights, reducing financial independence and provoking widespread scepticism of disability, as though everyone is a fake and on the make. I feel managing pain is even harder whilst living in an environment is so toxic to our plight. If you are not a productive robot you are despised and they'd rather be shot of us.
Another good point, I guess that sort of goes with the stress point too? Added stress to be able to live like a sort of human being and getting nowhere/no help.
No help from them is a given, but the added demonisation is the icing on the cake or rather nail in.....
Very true
Wonderful post that made my day today. Thank you 💕💕💕🤗🤗🤗
