I was diagnosed with sero-negative arthritis two years ago. last week I ended up at the eye hospital due to Uveitis (never heard of it before), they said it was due to the auto-immune condition. This has scared the life out of me as I'm scared I'm going to keep getting flare ups and lose my vision. Has anyone else experienced this?

It is linked to the auto immune arthritis.best way to protect your sight is if it starts again get the treatment started immediately do not delay.having had it once you will know how it starts so need to be very aware to nip it in the bud.that way the damage is far less.
Yes..back before I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease ..About 20 years ago..I experienced several bouts of uveitis. I had never heard of it before either ! It is one miserable ailment. Nearly scared the life out of me ! I agree..if you notice something go immediately to an ophthalmologist.
Once I started meds for my underlying disease I no longer have problems.
Are you being treated for your arthritis ? That would probably be key.
