Has ANYONE ever had MORE pain after a lidocaine infusion? This is just awful. I had an infusion on Monday and have been feeling just awful since. Have had them before and did not experience this. I just am at a lose as to why I am feeling like this, nothing has change, nothing at all....

I have had several injections in my feet, some steroid but also an infusion too, which was to breakdown some scar tissue. My surgeon said that sometimes you can react differently to each injection, there is no way of knowing what reaction you will have. I have seen it said that the more pain and inflammation after an injection, the more good work it is doing.

But also don't forget that other things could be going on. You haven't got a cold or the start of flu or something? There are so many different things going on in our bodies, which is why doctors get a degree in the ART and Science of medicine!

I'm wanting a Lidocaine Infusion as well. Here's a little bit of what I know- you might find it under Patient Safety

First some small test is dobe to make sure that you are not allergic to it.

Then they calculate a formula according to your weight. It's definitely NOT A One Size Fits All. I have a friend who's had them successfully once every approximately 5 weeks. These Infusions and Medical Canibinoil took her from Wheel Chair to a treadmill. I also am pretty darn sure, 95% (better than a bare pass!:) that these Infusions should be done by an Anethesioligists. They don't get paid very much for this so they are hard to find. I'm so hoping that now P.A.s or Nurses, and Doctors who aren't really qualidied are NOT DOING THIS!

ASK FOR INFORMED CONSCENT

ASK IF THEY ARE QUALIFIED

ASK AND DEMAND HONEST ANSWERS

THERE ARE FAR TOO MANY

IRREVERSABLE MEDICAL ERRORS THESE DAYS ONE MUST, MUST BE "A REAL PAIN IN THE ASS", TO MAKE SURE WE STOP BEING HARMED BY OUR Health Care INDUSTRY
