Hi I have a bad disk herniation causing compression of s1 nerve. Diagnosed through mri. Saw neurosurgeon a few days ago who has advised urgent surgery within 2 weeks. Although as he said no promises with nhs by hopefully soon. However last 2 days I am having severe oain in my ankle, it has aways been painful alongside the leg, buttock and ankle/foot, but this pain is different. Cant explain it but it is making it impossible to get any relief in any position and can hardly move my ankle at all. Pain is so bad considering going to a&e. I am already on high doses of pain meds including tramodol, oxycodone, pregabalin and others.

Anybody any experience of a similar problem? Or any advice,

Many thanks x
