Neuropathy pain.
Hi tobie, I am also not sure if I should stay on gabapentin so I wish you luck with decreasing the dose with the help of your Doctor. Seems like you are on the right path as you are down to 3x600. Hopefully you won't have to many withdrawal symptoms this way and hope your pain settles ,

hi tobie,I've been suffering with peripheral neuropathy for nearly 5 years and unfortunately the pains, symptoms muscle spasms, pins and needles, burning sensation's are all par for the course in currently on 300mg pregabalin, twice daily, and 30 mg mitrazapine at night, and lidocane patches for the affected areas,I find it a difficult condition to deal with,so totally sympathize with you,my main areas are my legs and feet, but on some occasions I've got it worse in my arms down to my fingers feels like someone has put a big bulldog clamp under my armpit,I thought at one point I was having a heart attack,it's physically tiring, but also mentally drained as their seems not light at the end of the tunnel,so I do as much as I can and eat a healthy diet and avoid alcohol,be prepared for the long haul, speak to your GP,so try and except what's happening, but you'll have good days and indifferent ones, thanks for now and good luck
