Hi. I am one of the many with invisible illnesses. Body dysmorphia, CPTSD, Bipolar 2, CFS, panic attacks, social phobia and agoraphobia. I am being made to claim PIP and i am afraid i will not cope with the assessment face to face. And i know they twist and lie about every single thing. My condition can put myself and other people in danger and my temperament when in a confrontational situation is a straight "fight response", and i can become extremely aggressive, due to abuse and bullying from childhood through to adulthood. I do not smoke, drink or take drugs and i am under the local mental health team.

What will happen?

I think best thing you can do will be to take someone with you. Also due to the agoraphobia see if assessor can come to you.

You will be asked lots of questions about how your affects you. TRY to stay calm and answer them.

Hope it goes well for you.
