Abdominal pain

I've been having abdominal pain in my stomach for about a week now.. I went to urgent care they checked my urine and everything was normal. The diagnosis was acid reflux disease.. my stomach still painful and tender to touch..

So did they give you any medication to take? either something like omeprazole, or another stomach protecting medicine? If you are taking meds and it still isn't helping, then perhaps you should go back to your GP and just make sure there isn't anything else you can do.

It takes a while for the stomach lining to heal after an episode like this. Were you given any advice about diet etc to stop the inflammation and help the healing ?

Yes I have been there the acids got to my eyes and dilated the pupil, but the remedy is simple, your Doctor shroud give you a prescription for a white chalky substance! I forget the name now it was so long ago, but it has a minty flavour. If you don't it you can do a lot of harm to the lining of you stomach, the chalky substance's absorb the acids. hope this helpful.

The white chalky liquid ì used to get was called maalox. Worked miracles
