Any change in bowel habits really needs to be discussed with your GP. It may be nothing, but it may need further checking out. There is a huge range of possibilities ranging from not at all serious to potentially quite serious, so the earlier you get a proper GP assessment of what is going on the better.

I have just went to toilet and there was quite a lot of blood on the pan and water was pink so I sympathise Hope yours is not too serious and your GP reassures you.

I have had the symptoms u have due to ibs which is now not a problem due to my pain meds for my back a good side effect my ibs caused me to go to toilet 10 plus times a day and really restricted my life having to know where every toilet was on the way to anywhere i was going the mucus usually follwed a severe case of diahorrea my dr prescribed colifoam or something like that so long ago im unsure of the name small aerosol which sprayed foam into a syringe which u squirted in ur bum for a few days after each bowel movement and it cleared up in a few days dont know if thats any help but thats my experience hope u get something sorted out soon but go see your gp to rule out anything sinister all the best .sp
