I was wondering if anyone has had experience with spinal cord stimulators, I just had a 7 day trial and it seemed to work. Any advice will be appreciated.

Forgive me but is that the same as a neuro modulator? If so my mother has one and finds it helps but isn't perfect. She has had 2 spinal fusions and is potentially looking at a third.

I had this on me but it did not work for me during the trial. Has it helped you in any way?

Hi I had a 3 week trial of the Nevro. The insertion wound of the lead went through the scar tissue of my spinal fusion. The device was left in for 3 weeks to try and see if the nerve pain was helped. It wasn’t helped enough for me to go through the operation to have the device inserted and I also decided that I couldn’t go through the daily recharging procedure. But there are different types of devices and one may work for you. I wish you all the best of luck in finding something that helps alleviate your pain.

Hi i have the scs implant fitted and personally i sometimes wish that i hadnt as it doesnt work as well as they tell you it does,,,ive had mine fitted 4 years now,, ive suffered degentive discs and i blame the electric current for doing this,,, but i will say that recently i will admit that i have been grateful for as i have CRPS and the nerves are badly damaged down my right hand side and i lose power of that hand and arm so i can turn the current up mysel higher so it sort of boosts life to it ,,,, so really it has alot of pros and cons,,, good luck thou

Hello , I had the spine cord stimulator the brand was from Saint Jude . I had so many issues with it along with it didn't do me any good .The issues I had was the battery.fliped inside me. The first time and the second was the wires were coming off.

I had it implanted on my right side of butt. It was very uncomfortable . I was able to control the stimulator cause of the amount of pain I was in., So I would put it up high then it would hurt too much .I couldn't find a happy medium with the stimulator at all . It didn't work for me .

A friend of mine got a different stimulator its with ultra sonic waves and like mine withe tingle sensation. She had no luck with her stimuator either.

They usually do a trial week to see if hlu like it. When u have it make sure you can control the remote for it . Then you can go up and down with controls and move it any way you want it . I hope it all goes well for you!+🙂

i had Nevro Senza - stimulator trial in January of 2020. COVID stopped the implant in April. Today I am 6 weeks post op after implant. My trail was very promising. I totally handled my back, thigh, sciatica and pneuropathy pain. The implant has really taken care of my back, leg , sciatica pain. I am working wit the Nevro Techs to fine tune the settings and knock out all or most of the pneuropaty pain. If you are considering a Nevro Senza I would recommend having the implant.
