Lower back pain
i would take some pain killers for inflammation. usually they are non specific anti inflamatory drugs. and also go to the doctor as you just dont know what damage you have done and may need physiotherapy. dont leave it in the hope that it will get better in time, once you have a diagnosis. the quicker you get some remedial exercises the better. you can find plenty psysio exercises on utube. love grace xoxoxo
Your hip pain is most likely refered pain from your back injury. Do you have a sports therapist or physiotherapist at your gym that could take a look? If not see your GP. Try hot and cold treatment while your waiting using hot water bottle or heat pad and bag of frozen peas or cold pack from chemist. Alternate every 20 minutes to help keep swelling down. Ask your chemist for advice on pain meds. Don't take to your bed as you could completely seize up. Rest then stretch out, find what gives relief to you. Hopefully it will sort itself out. X
Hi Samp if you look at my post BETTER there is a picture of how the pain runs through the sciatic nerve from your Lumbar spine L5S1. It is the most notorious for causing such awful debilitating pain.
Take care

Take anti-inflammatory tablets, use a cold compress and then find a really good Chiropractor. It sounds as though you have strained the sacroiliac joint which causes the pelvis to twist. I have done it severely a few times, usually when exercising in the gym or when bending forwards and lifting a weight. The Chiropractor sorts me out quickly. Physiotherapy including private appointments made no difference except to my bank balance. Physio is good after the pelvis has been straightened.
Keep moving.
