Hello, I'm new on here, and have just got a quick question,
Lately I've been having some days where my chest hurts a LOT and it feels as if someone was pushing my guts up and squashing my lungs... When I have it I also get v. nauseous.
Any Ideas???
Thanks
Berry

Have you recently changed meds or increased your dosages.?
Some of these meds that we all take are very strong and affect everyone differently. It may be something as simple as an acid reflux reaction,or due to a change in meds.
BUT to be able to put your mind at rest and to rule out anything more sinister it would be prudent to seek medical advice as soon as you can.If it is something more serious its best to get it checked out sooner rather than later. If it's not then at least you will know not to worry about it.
It doesn't sound very pleasant and you won't want that to continue for any longer than is necessary.Get it checked soon.
My advice to you is to see your docter sooner rather than later to get it checked out. It could be something serious or miner but either way it needs looking at. X
In January I had breathing problems and I also felt that sensation of my stomach pushing up into my lungs. I had pressure on my chest too, and had shortness of breath. It turned out to be pericarditis which is an inflammation of the sac surrounding the heart. This can be dangerous unless it is treated. I suggest you see a cardiologist right away. If you go to a pulmonologist, insist on a chest X-ray. BTW - this condition for me was caused by an upper respiratory infection I had in January. These types of infections can affect the heart. The cardiologist put me on a strong anti inflammatory and I was much better after 2 weeks.
