Struggling

Hi Y'all hope everyone is having a good weekend and managing their pain levels.

I'm having a really bad night, everything that I try to help my pain has failed to work.  Maxed out on meds. Feel like I'm heading towards A&E again.

I do hope it didn't come to A&E. They don't seem to help much anyway in my experience. 

Are you improved at all today ? I wonder why the evenings seem to be the worst. Is it too much activity during the day or just the as with any ailment ( psychical and mental ) the night hours are the darkest.

Fortunately I didn't end up in A&E, took the maximum of all the meds that I could and eventually fell asleep. Hopefully at my next pain clinic appointment more nerve blocks will help.

Hiya,  sounds like you're in the same boat as me.  I'm due nerve blocks.  Do they help?  Even 10% would be great.

On the whole I have found that nerve blocks do help. I would settle and be happy if my average pain level went down to a 5/10 instead of 8/10. That would make life far more manageable.

I am another one up with the night pains. They always seem worse at night but truly think it' s because i get so tired I am not able to deal with it so well. I hope you are coping once more though... good luck!

Sorry to hear that you are up at night with pain. I think that mostly my pain is worse at night because I am crap at pacing myself.Hope you can get to sleep.
