Wanted to say welcome on board the other day but computer having hiccups.

Not knowing what your interests are or were its difficult to say. Friends happen you don't need to look for them.

Are you mobile? Car? Bus? No good saying join the choir if you are tome deaf! Evening classes? Lots of interesting subjects there.

You will meet people on this forum and friendships have been formed. Many lasting and we meet each other. problem there is we are well scattered.

Try your library =- they usually have lists of groups etc in your area. Or...form one yourself. Gentleman's coffee club starting with one person.

If you find someone on this forum with similar likes then message each other.  It is earlly days of your split so don't rush.

Hello Noelszy, welcome to the site. On the subject of groups depends on your likes , dislikes, age, circumstances ect . Where you live and often financial status too. I am a member of two groups, an over fifties one and a widows group. Most councils have an on line list of group activities in the local area or Age UK if your over fifty. Hope this is of help.

Hey Noelzy

I am not sure is you are in the States or abroad? Here in the states there is a site called Meetup. Groups joined by people with simular interests. Also how volunteering? I let the organization know I have have condition and am limited to my time I can dedicate. However it is a great way to get out of the house, help others and be apart of the world :)

Hope this helped
