I know Dan didn't find any pain relief from using a Medipen but I wondered if anyone else had experienced better results.

I think they are quite expensive so one would need some hope they would be effective.

My sister in law suffered with an arthritic knee for years and always said that her medipen helped alot. I tried it on my fractured vertabra and it did nothing. I also tried it on my tight painful thighs but again it did nothing. Sorry to sound negative but all you can do is to try it for yourself.

Dear Dan, it is not possible to get a prescription from a private doctor in France for sativex. Only the public hospital pain consultant can prescribe it and only to MS sufferers. Licensing laws here are very strict.

I wonder why you don't want to try sativex.

Have you considered trying Krantom?

For temporary pain relief it is quite good although it does make you feel a bit sleepy so probably best to take when you are home relaxing.
