Hi, I use mine daily, I am not suffering from pain though. My husband has PD so I do it for myself and him on a daily basis. I use watercress, kale, spinach, or butter bead lettuce leaves as my greens (not all at once maybe 2 of each daily), I then add something like pineapple, Apple, blueberries, celery,I always add milk (skimmed instead of water) just as much goodness as I can pack in. The one thing I do put in every day is a half of a large advacado, or a whole small one, this is full of good fat, and has lots of Heath benefits. Then I also use superfoods from linwoods foods as well. The other thing I put in every day is freshly ground almonds, you can grind them yourself with the 2nd blade you get with your NB. One of the foods I buy from linwoods is Hemp, it is shelled and soft, and flax, they are both shelled. I didn't know until recently that hemp (not in the form I have it) is from Cannabis??? All I know is my cholesterol went down from 8.2 to 5.1 when I started using the NB each day, but of course along with low carb eating and excercise good luck 💛

Hi Sunflower62, I have nutri bullet and would also be interested in any ideas for pain relief and weight loss.

Hi allofatremor thank you for your suggestions, could you let me know the super foods you add. I add coconut water and plain water instead of milk. It's sooo confusing to know the right things to add and benefits they can make.

Wishing all a good day xx

Hi, NB do their own superfoods, look on NB website, they are well in circulation in the states but just dribbling into the uk. Some do appear on ebay from the NB range. Super foods such as blueberries, papaya, mango, there are lots. You can actually look up super foods as well, x

Are there really such things as super foods ? All foods as far as I'm concerned have value apart from refined sugar

Hi sunflower62

Have you heard of making Turmeric Golden Paste? You could add it to your NutriBullet drink and take at other times of the day too. It has helped a vast amount of people and animals with all sorts of illnesses, including the pain from osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Have a read here turmericlife.com.au you will also find the recipe there too. It's best to buy a good quality turmeric with a curcumin level of between 2.5 and 5%, use a 100% raw, organic cold pressed coconut or olive oil (as these are anti inflammatory and some oils are inflammatory) and grind your black pepper fresh as you make the paste to get the maximum benefit from the piperine. There is a link to their Facebook page in the Contact button, if you join the group you can read lots of positive stories.

The link to Turmeric User Group will be on the turmericlife.com.au. The other option is to do a search on Facebook, ensuring that you spell Turmeric correctly with 2 R's and that the first letter of each word is a Capitol letter as follows, Turmeric User Group. There are over 80,000 members worldwide and lots of files, recipes and clinical evidence. Also buy organic Turmeric, as not all Turmeric is equal. Some had had the Curcumin removed and fillers added. As it's oil soluble, it must be taken with oil and the best is virgin/extra virgin. Also with freshly ground black pepper, as Turmeric only has a short half life and black pepper increases the bioavailability, but you still need a few doses a day. On the website it gives a list of medication that may not be compatible with Turmeric or the Piperine in black pepper. However you can always ask admin on TUG if you can't see the med's. Many people are being helped by Turmeric.

Hi sunflower

I replied to the email notification but never mind.

If you have any questions please just ask. I know that it gets a bit confusing once you start looking at it all, been there and needed someone to help me through. Below the very top banner there is a line of black words. Can you see the 'contact' word at the right hand side above the 'for horses' characterture? Click on it and then you should see the 'chat group on Facebook' link in the information on that page. You will have to ask to join. Hope you get on ok this time.
