10am 29th Oct Portcullis House London
I would love to join you but the 29th is impossible for me!However I would like to be an active member of your group if possible?
Then please join us here facebook.com/groups/4997211...
Would it be possible to bring a friend's daughter with me? I would like to be an active member of the group as I was recently diagnosed as NOT having CRPS by someone posing as an 'expert'I have been researching the subject! It is very complex!
Yes that would be great
Myself I fear that CRPS is a cop out, pain must come from somewhere and CRPS is just a money saver for the NHS for it takes many NHS hours to get to the bottom of what's causing the pain, but there are far more reasons for the Health service to accept a crps diagnosis, because in a lot of the cases there won't be any treatment to alleviate the cause of the pain so it is easier just to accept this handy diagnosis, for it hides many ills, and not just the illness of the patient.
That's not to say that research into of what is pain, and it would be great if there could be a test to assess the levels of pain and it would cause many hours of suffering that is wasted on Doctors, due to their disbelief that there is pain, and a cause of that pain, and not just an excuse to get off work or whatever the doctors uses as a means to get out of looking more carefully into what the patient is saying, for example if the patient is far from likeable , because nothing must frustrate a doctor or clinic more than a complaining patient that can't be silenced.
Of course there must be patients who may be faking their pain for many reasons, and I would bet it is just about equal between the Doctors laziness or frustration, as with the lying patient or maybe patient has other reasons for just keep saying their in pain, because they may not be able to describe the feeling unwell in any other way than to say their still in pain after many appointments at said clinic, sorry never came out right, but my hands and neck are in so much pain, best Alex
I am going to try my hardest to come along. Could you give me the address please of where the meeting is being held so that I can work out my train journey to see if it is possible
Thank you
Bev
