This is difficult as we all react to different drugs in different ways and our tolerances build up over time. It's trying to find the dosage that takes away the pain enough to enable you to function but not go into sleepy or even zombie mode!

After five years of adjusting and still tweaking on a daily basis I take MST, Duluxotine, tramadol, co coydmol and Oramorph as a break through pain relief. I also take Diazipam for Resless Leg Syndrome and Ambien to sleep.

It's a lot but i usually take three quarters or even half on a good day. But it allows me on really crap days to take the full amount. The oramorph just 5 to 10 MPs can mean the difference between a duvet day and pottering around the house and pacing myself.

in reply toHartleyhare2

i had tramadol to start with and they made me so ill even though of it makes me feel queasy x

in reply toHartleyhare2

I often have duvet days and just potter around the house I get really bad anxiety so I struggle to go out alone I really hate having to leave the house on my own most days I just don't wanna go out at all even if I am with someone its horrible especially when you have no idea why you are like that.

I am the oral morph 10mls then inbetween doses am to take dissolvable co codamol .and also on amatripline I don't find it help that much but a also a pharmaphobic (not sure how spell it ) so taking meds is really hard for me .that's why most meds I have are in liquid form.
