I've been getting really bad hip and lower back pain when I lie down it like a burning feeling with pain and a bit of numbness top of leg and buttocks any one else had this

hi their is the on your left buttock if so you could have either damaged or trapped you sciatica nerve go to see your doctor or nearest hospital to have it check out please let us know what has happen take care bigalan

Its on the right cant sleep with the pain seems to get worse when I lie down

I'd go and see your GP. In the meantime try ice or heat. Not sure which will work for you. Frozen peas or hot water bottle. Paracetamol for the pain

It sounds like sacroiliac pains. If so it is in the ligaments and muscles of the lower back. Check it out. IF IT IS then I have had this pain for the last 14 days. Not much can be done about it. I have massages that help enormously. Also movement. do not rest too long else it gets stuck.

I also have this, my right hip is the worse.

You need to go to Hospital to rule out Cauda equina( root nerve problem) always get fast help when there s loss of sensation around buttocks hip or thigh area.I know this because i had to have mine checked out for the same symptoms.I was admitted from .A and E..IT WASNT Cauda but it was root pain involveMent.I was kept in for 9 days.best wishes
