Sasdav67 Cervical spondylosic Myelopathy sufferer.

Hi

am interested to hear if anyone has any suggestions on alternative pain relief for this condition.Over the last 10 yrs have suffered with this condition and have been on various meds i've had a cervical route decompression done in 2010 and for 1st 6 weeks waz in heaven no major pain and could finally see my life getting back to normal,then it came back with avengence.I have very little movement to right of neck approx10% have gone through pregablin gabapentin and duluotine i also take cocodamal tramadol amatriptoline and to help me sleep i have had diazapam temazapam and now clomazapam .I have really bad twitches in legs and arms mainly when i go to bed all this whilst trying to hold down a 30 hr a week job previously was full time 37.5 but due to absence at work had to reduce to keep my job .I've been to pain clinic and tried all the creams tens and other stuff including lidocane and fentinal patches but nothing is helping.A few days ago i had to go back to docs unfortunately my own doc on sick leave and have to say is my soul champion with this condition she always listened and asked me my opinion and gave me options this other doc has now prescribed i go back onto pregablin .I do not want to take this as it was the 1st neuropathic i 1st had and the side effects were horrendous.I have a new appointment with pain clinic on 11th June and i want go be armed with some alternative pain relief recommendations than having to go through the usual try this 1st rubbish.Sorry my 1st post is so long but any and i mean any recommendagions will be greatfully received.

I can't take a lot of med's but Opana ER work's for me. Check with your pain doctor to see if that might help. Best of luck to you sweetheart!!!! xxxx Mitzi
