Spinal fusion L5-S1

Hello everyone, a few weeks ago I was extremely concerned about a surgery I was having, ( L5-S1 spinal fusion) well, I had the operation and everything went good. I had to stay in the hospital for 4 days as I couldn't walk for 2 days. It was extremely painful but it is getting better everyday. I am moving around OK but still hurts. The doctor said it will take up to 8 months to be able to know if it works. I can tell you now the pain in my leg is gone and that's a plus but today I was getting off the couch and I split one of the incisions open and it hurts like hell now but I'll make it. Its funny how you can make things more than what it is thinking about things too much. Thanks to everyone who helped me keep colm and relaxed before the operation.
