I have currently not been diagnosed with endometriosis – only suspected. I was due to see the gynaecologist in May to elaborate on my pain that has been dull on and off for four years.
I am 30 and now 4 months pregnant. Scans and internal ultra sound show nothing but a cyst on my ovary but that is not all. I have endo symptoms and feel that its getting worse in pregnancy. People say this isn’t possible but having read the symptoms I have self diagnosed myself. Has anyone been pregnant with endometriosis? I feel like its worse when my bladder is full.

Hello.
I've had endometriosis for 22 years and I'm very lucky to have three children,
In theory, pregnancy should help symptoms if endometriosis. Because you stop having periods, any endometriosis in your pelvis doesn't bleed. However, if you have adhesions (caused by Endo, trauma, surgery or infection), these can cause a lot of pain. As your uterus grows this "stretches" the adhesions. Adhesions can have some nerve involvement which will cause you pain.
I explained to my doctor and midwife about these pains and I was offered extra appointments for reassurance. I had to have fertility treatment so I was very anxious anyway.
I had three natural births with no problems.
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.
Best wishes,
