When you have thoracic nerve pain can it affect your side through your breast and ribs?

My chiropractic has shown me that if a nerve is pinched in my rib then thoracic pain can occur. According to the muscle train theory: the purpose of the ribs is to help support the muscles involved in walking and running. It is quite easy for a rib to become too tight and pinch a nerve.

Beside the above points mentioned it is important to see a doctor to eliminate anything more serious than a pinched nerve.

what are your symptoms? do you have pain down both your arms to your elbows and sometimes shoulders as well? I have the same pain you do, gabapentin seems to help .
