DOES ANYONE WITH CHRONIC NERVE PAIN IN ABDOME... - Pain Concern
DOES ANYONE WITH CHRONIC NERVE PAIN IN ABDOMEN ARMS HANDS LEGS AND FEET GET "ELECTRIC SHOCKS" IN THEIR HEADS, ESPECIALLY WHEN SLEEPING
Electric shocks in your head is called myoclonus I suffer from it
I had an intracranial haemorrhage in 2002, caused by Wegener's Granulomatosis, and ever since have been living with constant pain down my entire left side, particularly my left foot and the outer edge of both hands. Some doctors say this is caused by nerve damage, others tell me that it is Chronic Pain Syndrome - some sort of problem caused to the brain by the bleed - and that even if the left foot was amputated, I would still feel the pain, since the problem isn't the foot but the brain. Either way, they all seem to tell me that there is nothing that can be done, and that I will just have to try to live with it the best I can. You haven't said here what actually caused your pain.
I don't have your other problems but I get the electric shocks - I thought I was the only one!
Hi........I have the same symptoms and more especially the electric shocks. it sounds like a neural problem to me ask your Dr to see a neurologist. I'm afraid there's no escape from the pain. Good luck..........take care
Hi docnai and Jamessteven i am a newby and I get the same pains that you descri only mine is in my upper body. Shoulder pain radiating down my arm to my fingers which causes my fingers to tremble in extreme pain.. My doctor said I have something which is known as calcific tendonitis. A forming of crystallize salt in your joints it prohibited and limits movement and is very painful especially when I'm sleeping or still for too long. Or no reason at all.at some point he gave me steroid now muscle relaxers
This problem seems to be trapped nerves from other problems have words with your GP and possibly a Rhumi specialist
