From the odd comment and even a turn of phrase or choice of word, I'm picking up that there are several Scots on this site ? Or English living in Scotland even?

I'm in England, but the headquarters of Pain Concern is in Scotland.. Their initial radio programmes on Able Radio were from Scotland, although the latest ones are from Northern Ireland. I'd love to see things from the Home Counties!

Ah, so that's the reason! Well, I can't help with the Home Counties demographic. I'm from Tyneside now living in Yorkshire!

Englishwoman, married to Yorkshireman and living in Scotland for last 10 years cos we love the country and people!

We have an excellent Chronic Pain Clinic and very active Cross Party Group at Holyroo.

The team at pain Concern are brilliant too.

And not wanting to get political = even MSPs are approachable and actually listen. That is most rare.

Of course as a Tynesider I do have some Scottish ancestry. My grandfather was from Glasgow and all his forbearers seems like forever, when Glasgow was even a village!

Hi,

I live in Clydebank for my sins.

Calceolaria do you attend any pain clinics?

I go to Stobhill but quite frankly by the time I get there I'm half dead. Bit ironic that they have a pain clinic in the most difficult hospital to get to in Glasgow.

Still, they have offered me group counselling for my pain. No thanks to that. If talking was the answer then I would have been cured long ago since I've got a mouth like the Clyde Tunnel. X

Hi Bankieannie! I am under a Pain Clinic in West Yorkshire bu am dormant at the moment. I have everything I need up to a point but I have been having a really bad week and my usual stuff isn't making much of a dent. Hoping rest will help as I have been overdoing it. Will I never learn ?
