I am just about to start a Phase 1 trial at the Royal Marsden, Sutton. I have a rare mucinous ovarian cancer which hopefully they will be able to zap with this new drug. I was wondering if anyone else is taking part? It's the AZD2014 study.
Reading about it the whole trial seems quite intense so has anyone any experience about what to expect?
Many thanks

Good luck with the trial. I hadn't heard about it but have just looked it up. Hopefully someone else will have some experience of it as the trial's been running a couple of years now.
Good luck with the trial. I haven't done this particular trial but I did do a stage 1 trial at the Marsden last year and was very well looked after. Happy to answer any questions about being on a trial in general. I am back at the Marsden this week as I am also looking at starting another trial soon.
Hi, I have mucinous disease too so I'm interested in how you get on. I had a second opinion at the royal Marsden in 2010 they recommended the mEOC trial (phase 3 trial) which I did. I didn't get great results from that however.
