Congratulations to all involved in organising this afternoon's Tea with Ovacome at The Mayfair Hotel; it was a really inspiring occasion. Well done also to those who spoke, performed or made donations. I am sure a huge sum will have been made for Ovacome.
Thank you all,
Ann xxx

Who organises these? I would have gone along if I had known about it!

This is an annual event in March organised by the wonderful Adele Sewell, an Ovacome volunteer and a group of friends. She did advertise it in this site a while ago and it has been featured in the Ovacome News. I hope to see you there next year!
I totally agree Ann it was the first time I have attended and it was truely inspiring and met lots of lovely ladies and it was a wonderful afternoon. Lets hope they raised a good amount too.
Thank you Ann & Tess for all of these wonderful comments. It was hard work but all of these wonderful comments and positive feedback makes it all worth while.
Whippit, I would love if we could hold similar events in diferent part of the country for Ovacome - where are you based? And I would be very happy to help by giving organisation tips and advice based on what we have learned so far, having now done this 4 times for Ovacome. I could even put together an event organisation pack for you if I put my thinking cap on.
Congratulations and thank you for once again organising such a successful and classy event on Saturday. Everything went without a hitch. I will be back next year hopefully with lots if friends and family in tow! Really keen to help out with the next event. I am currently on third line treatment (weekly Taxol) which I had on Tuesday and delighted to be fit and well enough to go straight from The Mayfair to a SaintPatrick's Day Ball in a hotel close by. We wined, dined and danced til the small hours!
Well done again and I'm sure you could become Juliet's agent and make money hiring her for other events - she was fab. Models also top class!
