Ovacome christmas cards

Hi all

Just to say have you all bought your Christmas cards yet? I hadn't realised our fab site has an online shop (Ovacome staff - you need to advertise it more! I assume you don't advertise on the forum so you don't detract from the forum's purpose but an 'incase u didn't know' message sent to members alerting them to the shop would be good. )

I'd been searching for cards that benefit OC research/support and these are thankfully a) a nice Christmas pud design although 2 great designs are already sold out b) indicate well that they are sold in support of Ovacome and c) came with a lovely written note thanking me for supporting ovacome.

I've ordered a couple of pin badges too as I want to show support and prompt conversation.

I ordered an Ovacome pin from the shop a couple of weeks ago. They sent me a shopping trolley coin 🙈 I didn’t have the heart to go back to them (it was hardly expensive), so I’ll try ordering a pin again after Christmas.

Thank you for supporting Ovacome through buying the Christmas cards and pin badges. We really appreciate all your support.

You're quite right, we don't mention the shop on the forum as we want to keep the focus on My Ovacome being a supportive space between people affected by ovarian cancer. However, we will be looking again in the new year at how we promote our shop , as it helps us to raise funds to keep our services like the forum running.
