WHAT IS SMALL ADENOPATHY MESENTERIC , IS IT A BAD SIGN ?

ON THE 14-10-2011 I FINISHED MY LAST CHEMO SESSION BUT I HAD A URINARY INFECTION AND I TOOK ANTIBIOTIC AND IM GOING TO RECOVER.

YESTERDAY I MADE MY CT SCAN TO CHECK MY SITUATION AFTER CHEMO KNOWING IM CLEAR CELL STAGE 1C TUMOR 1 C WITH A RUPTURED CYST DURING SURGERY,THE RESULT BECAME AS FOLLOW :

* ABDOMINAL AREA :

- ABSENCE : LESION HEPATIQUE FOCAL VISIBLE

- ABSENCE : LESION SPLENIQUE

- ABSENCE : MASS PANCREATIQUE DECELABLE

- ABSENCE : D'ASCITE

- ABSENCE : ADENOPATHY PERI AORTIQUE

- ABSENCE : DILATATION DES CAVITES RENALES

- ABSENCE : MASSE RENAL SOLIDE VISIBLE .

* PELVIC AREA :

- ABSENCE ADENOPATHIE LOMBO AORTIQUE OU PELVIENNE VISIBLE.

- DOUGLAS LIBRE

- PRESENCE DES SEQUELLES POST OPERATOIRE PELVIENNE

- PRESENCE DE QUELQUES PETITES ADENOPATHIES MESENTERIQUES

CAN SOME ONE CAN EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT IS SEQULLES POST OPERATIVE AND SMALL ADENOPATHIES MESENTERIC IN THE PELVIC AREA.

Hi Tarouza!

I think "sequelles" may be a reference to scar tissue, the word is defines in french as the consequences of an operartion; "post operatoire" is post operative! Pelvienne, presumably, refers to the pelvic area. Adenopathy in English is enlargement of the lymph nodes so I assume the same in French, mesenteric refers to the position of the lymph nodes, lower right pelvic area near the apendix. I think this is referring to some post operative inflammation of the lymph nodes.

I just googled the terms as they originate in latin they are similar in most languages. The important words in all that medical gobbledegook are"absence de". Whatever the language those are the words I want to see after my op next week.

Thanks for the spur to improve my French! Beats the hell out of "La plume de ma tante est dans le bureau de mon oncle"! LOL!
