what does residuals mean

Hi Iwonder if anyone could help,I finished chemo 3 months ago and i,m now in remission however from my scan it showed that i had SCF nodes reduced in size and number with a residual of 6mm can anyone explain what residual means?also what do the terms clinical,biochemicaland radiological remissions mean?

The information about remission is at tirgan.com/remission.htm. Your Oncologist, GP, or nurse specialist should be happy to explain about the residuals. I suspect you need an individual explanation of your situation by someone who has your records infront of them.
