Thank you all for your suggestions but in the end she named herself. She is possibly the naughtiest kitten we ever had. And totally doing her job of banishing the OC blues!
We called her Minx: Thank you all for your... - My Ovacome

She's lovely.

Is there some Siamese in that pretty little kitten? Mincer has some Siamese ancestry among the alley-cat genes. Someone told me that's where she gets her screeching yowl from - and a lot of her other imperious behaviour.
Enjoy little Minx. A good name. xxxx
Looks like a mog of many parts to me. All the litter mates were different. We will never know, her mummy was clearly a bit of a loose kitty. Minx is curled up in bed with me, exhausted after playing kill-the-toes-under-the-duvet game which my husband will be delighted that I taught her...

She is indeed a Motley Mog and very pretty too! You tend to know what you're going to get with a dog breed and even mongrels as they tend to follow a pattern. Think it's probably more pot-luck with cats.
Do all your cats get under the duvet - I got the impression you had a baker's dozen there. xxx
She is just too gorgeous for words, I love her xx
What a lovely cat. So pretty.
When I saw the start of your post Minx the first cat we had when I was about sevenish was named by my brother who was still is car mad Minx after the Hillman Minx.
It did get changed to Tiddler with Minx being her official name.

I don't think any of my cats have the name they started with! They do seem to morph of their own accord, don't they?
Yes, hence little Minnie who became the awesome Mincer.
