This was a very interesting article even if I didn't understand some of it. I've got 1 cycle left of carbo/taxel for stage 4 OC. I too wonder if it would apply to reacurrace. Chemo every week could be quite harrowing but if it works better I would feel I'd have to do it.

Thanks for this Linda. This sounds like a good regime - I've met a couple of ladies on the trial and they seem to be doing ok. Good progress is being made it seems, but too slowly!!

Thanks for posting , I have been on this regime weekly taxol and 3 weekly carboplatin... Was told at members day the NOVEL trial Japanese said good regime.

Had optimal clearance debunking in march 12 as well... Disappointingly I am back on oncology ward with partial bowel obstruction ( regrowth) and awaiting another few cycles to knock back the beast x positive thoughts to all of us , research is driving on very fast.. Where there is life there is hope ??
