Hi Nikki,

It is still early days yet, and the chemo is still in your system...it is the "norm" to feel the way you do...just take it easy and be kind to yourself...sending you good wishes love x G x :-)

Hello Nikki,

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing these symptoms which are classic anaemia symptoms. It's not something you want to continue for too long, so I would ask your GP -or oncology dept if they are handy - what to do. Your blood will show if and which form of anaemia you have, and how to treat it.

I'm very prone to it, and took months after chemo to recover to anything like ok levels. Taking a good mulit-vit might help, but it is unlikely to be targetted enough to fully solve the problem.

Hope this helps.

Hi Nikki, I don't get to go on line much recently but if I were you I would make an appointment with the oncologist to ask for a blood test. It will show your anaemia and ask for a CA125 too... just to see if your count has gone up at all. After your gem/carb did they tell you what your blood markers were? I have found that I had to 'kick arse' to get to the route of things!! Shouldn't have to really though should we?? Please be firm - this is about YOU not THEM!! Thinking of you.

Hi Nikki

I felt exactly the same when I finished my chemo at the end of may but my blood

was ok. It just takes time to recover from the nasty stuff they put into you. It is now

end of August and I am only just beginning to feel that I can get through a day

without getting terribly exhausted. Take one day at a time and get plenty of rest

and just do the things you have to do. Are you seeing your oncologist in about 3wks

time - I saw mine 6wks after chemo ended and I had blood tests the week before

ready for my oncology appointment.

Take care

Angie x

Try taking acetyl L carnitine , panax ginseng and L glutamine to try to help with muscle strength and energy . Always take vit D ,vit C vit b1 , b6 and B12 . These should ne seperately rather than as multivit . ...... otherwise dosage will not be high enough to do you any good .
