I had my first post-chemo review last week. The consultant was quite happy with me but I only got my CA125 result this morning. It was 11 so I am now officially in remission - hopefully for good.
Thanks to everyone here who has been so supportive. I'm envisioning positive outomes for all of you.
I am so pleased for you. What a wonderful weekend you and your family are going to have, celebrating your own very special event, along with the rest of the country celebrating theirs! It is so great to hear your good news. Long may you remain in good health. I think we all appreciate the joys of life (sometimes very small and mundane), when we have been through this strange experience. Well done!
You are always a great support to all the Ovacome sisters. What you say is true. As an example, from being an exerciser who did because she knew she should I'm now doing it because I'm glad I can, and I'm enjoying it!
That is wonderful news , very well done. You are an inspiration.
I think that you are about a year behind me, although I didn't have chemo. I really cannot believe how much better I am now compared with this time last summer. From now on honestly you will go from strength to strength.
I'm sure you are so happy and relieved to hear such wonderful news now you can book yourself a great holiday to celebrate, think i live quite close maybe we could meet up sometime for coffee.
It's lovely to read a good news story. I'm so pleased for you and hopefully you'll feel better than ever as you recover from chemotherapy and surgery. Luckily yo having the summer for your recuperation. Enjoy your holiday! Xx Annie
Keep taking it gently as you recover from your surgery.
Love
Linda
