I'm about to start 5th line chemo, and feeling very negative about the whole thing. Drugs gemcitabineand Treosulfan. Has anybody else got this far down the line? Not many people seem to be on line that have been around as long as me. has anybody else had these drugs, that can give me some info.
I'm so glad my husband has no qualmsabout doing everything for me, as I have breathing problems at the moment and can't do anything, and i feel so guilty.
As one of the support line nurses at Ovacome we thought you might be interested in going to the Macmillan website - cancer information-cancer treatment- chemo- individual drugs- Treosulphan and Gemcitabine. If you would like to talk things through at any time do please give us a ring 08453710554. It can be difficult getting prepared for another lot of chemo if it was not long ago when you had your last lot. Try and take each session at a time as otherwise it can all become a bit overwhelming.
Hi Ruth, I know this is an old post but I may need to go onto this mix at some point. I haven't been able to find much info on it. Is it not a very common mix?
Thanks, Anita Almond
Myoncolgist gives me all the paperwork about the drugs I have, it just seems that this is an unusual combination.
