Back, neck and shoulder massage

Hello ladies. Im panicking again.

I recently got diagnosed with stage 1 low grade ovarian cancer. I had all of my pelvic/par-aortic lymph nodes removed, none of them had cancer cells in them.

My oncologist said a massage is fine. But I am worried about the missing lymph nodes. Not from the point of view of pushing cancer around the body but pushing lymph?

Can anyone advise please?

I had 22 lymph nodes removed during debulking and have had several massages since. I would think moving lymph around could be good.

is there a lymph-edema nurse you can consult? Maybe there is a masseuse who has special training. Ask your cancer center. Good luck!
