I was just looking back on my medical records and both last year and in 2022 and my TIBC was high both times but my iron was normal. The doctor said she didn't see any anemia, but it is odd that the TIBC was high since high TIBC means low levels of iron....yet iron was normal.
All these things I'm looking up while I wait for my MRI in a few weeks to check and see if it's a pedunculated fibroid or ovarian mass since the ultrasound and CT scan couldn't be sure. Just the internet taking me down the rabbit hole!

I'm going to share with you one thing in the beginning everyone goes on the Internet. Stay off! It talks about survival rates etc for ovarian cancer you don't know if you have it! Prayers you don't. I never thought I would die from this disease though my chances were not good. I don't know how long ago the odds were set but I have stage 3c 2 clear cell ovarian cancer I have been cancer free 10+ years with no reoccurrence. Stay off the Internet if you trust your Dr ask her questions let her do the research. Later after you learn more be your own advocate. For now let her figure out what's up. Chill you might be ok. 💜 Liz
