Hi, we are all so different, so it may or not be a recurrence. I’ve had tummy pains like you describe but it wasn’t a recurrence.I’ve had 2 recurrences and both picked up by blood tests. If you are concerned speak with your CNS or Onc. X
yuo know your body best have it checked out!
thanks guys, I’ve got my blood test booked in for Thursday and called my on team. They’re going to review them and get back to me next week. I don’t know whether I’m just overthinking it but I suppose it’s better to check and make sure
Everyone is so different. Some women may get symptoms and others may only know because it's picked up on a blood test. I think we're all hyper sensitive when we feel any type of pain. Think that's perfectly normal. I think you've done the right thing contacting your team, it's always worth mentioning. I was told by my CNS that as time goes on we get to know what our new norm is but takes a while as our bodies have been through so much. x
Absolutely best to get it checked out. Fingers crossed it’s nothing. I note you are Low Grade - same diagnosis as me and it is unlikely that you would feel physical symptoms, before a recurrence would show up in routine blood tests (if CA125 is a marker for you). That’s how my Onc explained it when I was experiencing strange aches and pains. She also said to get in touch if any pains persisted for more than two weeks. Hope the helps.
